PM Oli inaugurates Rs 57.1 billion worth 165 strategic roads

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Saturday inaugurated 165 strategic roads across the country.

Amid a special ceremony organized at the Prime Minister’s Official Residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu, PM Oli turned a switch on to mark the commencement of the construction of these strategic roads in all 165 electoral constituencies across the country.

The roads are being constructed at a total cost of Rs 57.1 billion and are expected to be completed in three years.

Prime Minister Oli, during the programme, urged all sides concerned to take the construction works forward and avoid delays.Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Basanta Kumar Nembang, apprised those present of the various road infrastructure works being carried out in the country.
