KATHMANDU: Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Maha Prasad Adhikari have said that the central bank will give continuity to different economic revival programmes announced in the Monetary Policy for 2020-21.
Citing that the prohibitory orders announced by the government to contain spread of COVID-19 will impact the economy which was recovering, Adhikari informed that necessary steps will be taken to assure that the prohobitory order will impact less to the economy.
“The economy was recovering gradually. However, the spread of the pandemic and different measures adopted by the government to contain its spread is certain to impact the economy. NRB is serious on it and will do needful to protect the economy,” said Adhikari.
