Rs 3.4 million withdrawn from expired ATM card, two arrested

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police has arrested two on charge of withdrawing Rs 3.4 million using expired ATM cards.

Police have arrested Jagat Bahadur Gurung of Solukhumbu and Savitri Gurung of Parsa on the charge of withdrawing money from ATMs using expired ATM cards. As per police, they withdrew money from various ATM machines of Siddhartha Bank using expired ATM cards.

The police have recovered Rs 2.1 million that they had withdrawn this way.
