KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives has endorsed the Financial Ordinance, 2078 BS despite protests at the parliament by members of the opposition party CPN-UML.
Endorsement of the Financial Ordinance means that the government can now introduce new budget through Substitution Bill.
Finance Minister Janardan Sharma tabled the ordinance in the House though members of the opposition party were staging protest against government’s plan to table the Financial Ordinance at the House.
The Financial Ordinance, presented by Sharma, was passed from the House as it was endorsed by a majority of members.
