KATHMANDU: Transport entrepreneurs have put on hold hundreds of public vehicles across Ring Road in Kathmandu Valley demanding to raise transportation fare and implement it.
After the transport operators hold the vehicles at Chabahil including various intersections in the Ring Road, heavy security personnel have been mobilized to avoid clashes between passengers and transport operators.
The transport operators had hiked the fare from Rs 15 to 20, Rs 20 to 25 and Rs 25 to 30.
