KATHMANDU: Former Finance Minister and CPN (UML) Vice-Chairman Bishnu Poudel has said that the country would face economic crisis like Sri Lanka if it does not intervene positively.
Speaking at a press conference organized by UML on Sunday on the country’s economy, Poudel said that the speech of the Prime Minister or the Ministers alone would not prevent the crisis from happening.
“If we don’t intervene meaningfully, if we don’t take positive steps to solve the problem, no one can stop Nepal from facing crisis like that of Sri Lanka,” Poudel said.
