Nepse dropped 14.44 points on Wednesday

KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index closed at 1,938.62 today after losing 14.44 points from the last trading day’s closing. This is a loss of 0.74%. The index gained 1.85 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 1,953.96 and made an intraday high at 1,956.37. In contrast, it went as low as 1,926.57 and ultimately closed at 1,938.62.

253 scrips traded hands via 25,491 transactions. A total of 3,716,684 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.202 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day’s turnover of Rs. 1.135 Arba.

NIC Asia Bank had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.35 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 748 per share. The shares of SHPC traded the most.

Unique Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (UNLB) and Shuvam Power Limited (SPL) gained the highest 9.99% each and technically hit positive for the day.

Conversely, Kisan Lagubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (KLBSL) lost the highest 5.90% today.
