KATHMANDU: The Churchill Institute of Higher Education, operated with investment from Non-Resident Nepali’s in Australia, has received international academic recognition in two categories.
The honors were awarded at the “Globe Summit 2025,” held at the Radisson Resort and Suites in Phuket, Thailand. According to Churchill Institute Director Sagar Lohani, the institute was recognized for Best Conference Paper and Best Presentation.
The second edition of the summit, held from June 21 to 23, was organized under the theme “Global Leadership in Hospitality and Tourism Management.”
Director Lohani stated, “This recognition has further strengthened our commitment to research that enhances the global hospitality and tourism sector. We would like to thank everyone who represented Churchill on this international platform.” The conference focused on innovation, sustainability, and leadership within the tourism and hospitality industries.
The summit saw a significant presence of experts, academics, and industry leaders from the fields of tourism, hospitality, and education from around the world. Two research papers presented by Churchill Institute faculty members drew particular attention at the event.
Dr. Siddhartha Jain, Dr. Syed Mehmood Ahmed, and Dr. Ronsyn presented papers at the summit. In the presentation category, the award-winning team included presenter Dr. Thomas Denigan, with co-authors Dr. Siddhartha Jain and Dr. Syed Mehmood Ahmed.
