Prabhu Helicopters marks 10th anniversary, IPO underway

KATHMANDU: Prabhu Helicopters has entered its 10th year of operation. On this occasion, Chairman Subhash Amatya expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their support over the past decade and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality air services in the future.

Originally established as Muktinath Helicopters, the company was acquired by the Prabhu Group in 2072 BS and rebranded as Prabhu Helicopters. “We remain dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and efficient air transport services across Nepal’s diverse and challenging geography, and we look forward to continued support and trust from our passengers,” said Amatya.

Prabhu Helicopters plays an important role in Nepal’s tourism sector and provides critical services such as emergency rescues and cargo transport. The company began its commercial journey with a Robinson helicopter and now operates two Airbus H125 helicopters.

It offers sightseeing and helicopter tour services from Pokhara & Kathmandu, including trips to Muktinath, Gosaikunda, Kalinchowk Bhagwati, and Lumbini. The company also flies to base camps of Everest, Annapurna, and Machhapuchhre, while offering emergency rescue operations.

Initially registered as a private limited company under the Companies Act 2063, Prabhu Helicopter Pvt. Ltd. was converted into a public limited company on Ashad 30, 2079 BS. It also operates its own hangar facility in Pokhara and holds Air Operator Certificate (AOC) No. 081/213-1 from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.

IPO Plans Underway

Prabhu Helicopter Limited is preparing to issue an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to the general public. The company has appointed Muktinath Capital as the issue manager for the IPO.
