NAIMA Mobility Expo to starts today: Over 50 Vehicle Models to Be Showcased

KATHMANDU: The much-anticipated NAIMA Mobility Expo 2025 officially begins today at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, with Nepal’s Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel scheduled to inaugurate the event at 8:30 AM.

Organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), the five-day event—from August 7 to 11 (Shrawan 21–25)—will showcase over 50 models of two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers, including 35 brand-new launches.

NAIMA President Ritu Singh Vaidya stated the expo offers not just an opportunity for vehicle buyers but also serves as a critical platform for sharing the latest insights and future directions of Nepal’s evolving automobile industry.

According to NAIMA, the unveiling of 15 four-wheeler models, 15 two-wheeler models, 1 three-wheeler, and 4 commercial vehicles is planned during the event.

Brand Participation Highlights:

Four-Wheelers: BYD, Citroën, Forthing, Great Wall Motors, Henry Voltas, Hyundai, KEI, Kia, Leapmotor, LS Auto, Mahindra, Maxus, Mazda, MG, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Omoda, JAC, Peugeot, Proton, Renault, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Zeekr.

Two-Wheelers: Ampere, Ather, Bajaj, Benelli, CF Moto, Gogoro, Honda, KTM, Mahindra, NIU, Revolt, Royal Enfield, Segway Ninebot, Suzuki, Triumph, TVS, Ultraviolette, Yezdi, and ZEEHO.

Commercial Vehicles: Chery Wanda, Dongfeng, Farizon, Hozon (Hawji), Kama, Kari, King Long, and Sunlong.

The expo will also host thematic panel discussions on transportation policy, human resource development, and current challenges, featuring both national and international experts.

Ticket Prices: NPR 200 for general public; 50% discount for students with valid ID.

Parking: Cars at Nepal Police Club; Motorcycles inside Bhrikutimandap.

CSR Initiative: NAIMA will allocate 5% of ticket sales to scholarships and fellowships for mobility sector students, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and CTEVT.

The NAIMA Mobility Expo 2025 aims to boost Nepal’s green, inclusive, and technologically advanced mobility ecosystem while engaging both consumers and policymakers alike.
