Global IME securities reports remarkable progress

KATHMANDU: Global IME Securities Limited, established with 100 percent investment from Global IME Bank, successfully concluded its second annual general meeting (AGM) on Tuesday.

Addressing the AGM, the company’s Managing Director Praveena Pandey highlighted that despite stock market volatility, regulatory directions, and growing investor expectations, the company has achieved notable progress. “By prioritizing transparency, trust, and service enhancement, we have been able to achieve remarkable growth in the fiscal year 2081/82,” she said.

The AGM was chaired by the company’s Chairman Tek Nath Pokharel. Chief Guest of the program, Surendra Raj Regmi, CEO of Global IME Bank Limited, lauded the achievements made by Global IME Securities so far and emphasized the need for more impactful work in the future.

During the meeting, Chairman Pokharel presented the board of directors’ report, followed by discussions on the proposed agenda items. Queries raised by shareholders were addressed, and all proposals were passed unanimously.

The AGM approved the board’s annual report, auditor’s report with financial statements, appointment of auditors and remuneration for the upcoming fiscal year, and amendments to the company’s memorandum and articles of association.

The event witnessed the presence of representatives from the bank, the Deputy Registrar of the Office of Company Registrar, and several distinguished personalities from various sectors.
