KATHMANDU: The price of gold in Nepal continued its record-breaking rally, climbing by Rs. 1,600 per tola on Sunday compared to the previous trading day. With the latest surge, gold reached Rs. 212,000 per tola, up from Rs. 210,400 per tola a day earlier.
Silver prices also touched a historic high, setting a new record at Rs. 2,500 per tola. This comes after Saturday’s previous all-time high of Rs. 2,490 per tola.
The continuous rise in gold and silver prices has been attributed to global market fluctuations, investor demand, and local currency movements, creating pressure on both traders and consumers in Nepal’s bullion market.
