Among the participating companies are:
Abhay PaudelDirector, Gokyo Lab
According to Gokyo Lab’s Director, Abhay Paudel, the company has introduced Nepal’s first banking software based on an Open Banking system, named ‘Rapid’. This software aims to make digital connectivity between banks and businesses (especially SMEs) more seamless and automated.
Until now, businesses have been using manual processes to obtain bank statements or import bank details into their ERP systems—such as downloading statements separately through internet banking, going to the bank to collect them, or lacking direct digital integration between bank systems and business systems. Paudel explains that this has caused delays, repetitive work, and errors.Rapid is an API-based bridge system that digitally connects a bank directly with the ERP systems of businesses.
Dhiraj DhunganaCEO, Swift Technology
We have developed a new solution for corporate internet banking. This solution has been specifically designed by keeping in mind the needs of corporate houses, so that the workflows between banks and corporate clients become secure, organized, and simple. Special emphasis has been placed on administrative and security controls to ensure that processes on both sides can operate easily and safely.
The product has not been officially launched yet, but it has already undergone a soft launch in one bank. We plan to formally launch it at the Tigg NAS-IT Expo.
This solution uses the “Maker–Checker” concept, where:-One person initiates the transaction (Initiator / Maker),-Another person approves it (Approver / Checker).-This establishes a two-layer security structure in transaction processing.
The product also includes User Management, meaning users can be created and roles can be defined clearly so that each individual’s responsibility is well-specified.
Additional features include:-Capability to handle large-volume (bulk) transactions-Bulk transfer functionality-Bulk payload management-Customization for specific corporate transaction requirements-Support for corporate top-up and related operations
With these features being customizable based on each corporate house’s needs, this solution has been designed as a complete Corporate Internet Banking System.
Manoj GhimireCEO, Rara Digital Lab (Sumo Ledger)
We are going to showcase the product name ‘Sumo Ledger’. Sumo Ledger performs high-volume real-time accounting. As digital transactions have increased, the volume of transactions has also grown, and many enterprises have struggled to manage their real-time accounting impact. To solve this challenge, we developed this software.
We have built multiple capacity-building engines within the system. For example, this software can pull data from multiple sources and consolidate it in one place, allowing accounting users to complete work that previously took weeks within minutes.
It provides instant real-time data on bank transactions, enterprise transactions, and payment-related activities, which significantly reduces the operational burden for enterprise accounting teams. In simple terms, this is the core engine of accounting, through which all accounting-related workflows can be executed instantly, and integrated reports can be viewed in real time.
We will be demonstrating this product at the Expo and have also arranged special discounts for interested buyers.
Amit JoshiCEO, Amnil Technology
We have developed a Business Process Management (BPM) system, also known as a low-code workflow management system. This product has already been implemented in four to five banks. We also have an AI-based, LLM-powered chatbot, which provides solutions for both customer-facing interactions as well as internal support systems for bank employees, including ticketing systems and agentic AI services.
Another major product is our Fraud Management Solution (FMS), designed specifically to address large-scale fraud issues. This falls under fraud detection, where the system can suspend an account or trigger alerts if any unwanted or suspicious transactions are detected in ATMs or bank accounts.
At the expo, we are also showcasing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software solution. Since international CRM solutions are highly expensive, we are offering our own CRM built based on our practical experience.
Another key product is our ERP solution for the pharmaceutical industry. This ERP supports pharmaceutical companies in meeting GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and production management guidelines. It has already been implemented in large pharma companies, and we are now preparing to re-launch it.Our primary target customers are banking sector and IT industry clients, although we also work with telecom and other industries, including Ncell, which is one of our clients.
Rubi MaharjanFonePay
FonePay is Nepal’s leading digital payment network, which connects banks, financial institutions, mobile wallets, merchants, and customers on a single platform. FonePay first expanded QR-based payment systems across the country, enabling digital payments from small local shops to large corporate stores. This has helped make transactions cashless, secure, and fast. Currently, FonePay’s network includes more than 50 banks and financial institutions and over 1 million merchants.
FonePay is built on the concept of interoperability, which allows payments to be made easily from one bank account to another bank, wallet, or merchant. Based on this, services such as QR Payment, Bank-to-Bank Transfer, Utility Bill Payment, Top-up, and E-commerce Checkout have become widely used.
Among its newest products, FonePay has introduced FonePay Direct, which enables bank-to-bank payments using only a mobile number. This eliminates the need to scan a QR code or enter an account number, making the payment process even faster and more convenient.
Additionally, FonePay is currently working on the FonePay Credit Network (Buy Now Pay Later) and a Merchant Management Platform, which are expected to further strengthen Nepal’s digital economy.
Apar ThebeCEO, Juneli Group
Our company will be represented at the Tigg NAS-IT Expo, and we will primarily be showcasing our three flagship products.
The first is our 360 Core Banking System, designed for commercial banks, microfinance institutions, and similar financial organizations. Interestingly, we have more customers outside Nepal than within—such as in Myanmar, Bangladesh, Kenya, and other countries.
Our second flagship product is called Juneli Trading, which is a general accounting solution for retail marts and retail shops.
The third one is our newly launched MultipleDesk remote desktop application. Developed entirely in Nepal, MultipleDesk aims to reduce dependency on foreign remote desktop solutions. The application includes features such as data security, chat, audit log, and session recording. Being locally developed, the company claims that this product will help save a significant amount of money that currently flows abroad and better address the needs of Nepali users.
According to Thebe, Nepal sends over 1 million dollars annually just to purchase remote desktop application services. Therefore, the company is now strongly focused on this product.
Aakriti SapkotaDigital Marketing Head, IMS Software
Our company has four major products. The first is the Point of Sale (POS) Management Software, which is mainly used in the retail sector. This system is currently running in supermarkets, grocery chains, and retail stores—including outlets like Bhatbhateni.
The second product is the Restaurant Management Software, used by restaurants and cafés in the hospitality sector. It automates complete operations such as table ordering, billing, kitchen coordination, and overall service management.
The third product is the Distribution Management Software, designed especially for distributors with large networks—such as companies like Dabur. With this system, they can track how goods move from one distributor to another, view their inventory, and monitor stock movement from a single platform.
The fourth product is Sales Force Automation, which digitizes the work of field sales teams. Activities such as daily tasks, KPIs, incentives, and overall sales tracking are managed through a mobile or system interface.
We will be showcasing all these products at the Tigg NAS-IT Expo, and we have arranged special discounts for customers who consult or finalize deals during the event.
