KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Punam Yadav has been honored with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Lifestyle Iconic Award 2025 in India. She received the award at a ceremony held in Mumbai for her significant contributions in the social, religious, and tourism sectors, according to the organizer DPIAF.
Yadav has long been active in promoting cultural awareness, social service, and tourism in Nepali society. In recent years, she has been involved in various spiritual programs, cultural discourses such as Ram Katha, preservation of archaeological heritage, promotion of cultural festivals, and the showcasing of natural beauty.
The honor was presented under the 6th edition of the DPIAF Lifestyle Iconic Awards, which recognizes public figures, social activists, artists, and political personalities.
After receiving the award, Yadav said it has encouraged her to contribute even more to the social, religious, and tourism sectors of her home district Rautahat and the country. She expressed her commitment to remain even more active and impactful in these fields in the days to come.
