KATHMANDU: Bikash Media Pvt. Ltd. is set to officially announce “Bikash Nayak 2082” today (Sunday), recognizing ten individuals from diverse sectors for their outstanding contributions to Nepal’s social and economic development.
According to Bikash Media, the announcement will be made during a Bikash Bahas and Bikash Nayak Award Ceremony, aimed at honoring individuals whose work has played a meaningful role in nation-building and long-term development outcomes.
The selection has been carried out by an independent Bikash Nayak Jury Committee, which evaluated contributions across ten distinct sectors. The initiative seeks to highlight impactful leadership, innovation, and service that have directly or indirectly strengthened Nepal’s development trajectory.
As per the organizers, one Development Hero has been selected from each of the following areas:
Development Media stated that the “Development Heroes” initiative is designed to promote a culture of recognizing positive change-makers and to encourage broader public discourse on development priorities, leadership, and accountability.
The organization emphasized that the program is not limited to ceremonial recognition but is intended to serve as a platform for constructive dialogue on development models, sectoral reforms, and long-term national interests.
