NOC adjusts fuel prices following IOC rate revision

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the prices of petroleum products, effective from midnight on Thursday.

According to the revised price list, the price of petrol has been lowered by Rs 3 per litre, while diesel and kerosene have each been reduced by Rs 1 per litre. With the adjustment, petrol is now priced at Rs 156 per litre, and diesel and kerosene at Rs 136 per litre.

The price revision follows the receipt of a new purchase price list from the Indian Oil Corporation on Magh 1. Based on the updated procurement rates, the NOC board of directors approved the new retail prices.
