KATHMANDU: Sanima Bank Limited has appointed Pawan Kumar Acharya as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with effect from Monday, following a decision of the bank’s Board of Directors.

A meeting of the Board held on Monday endorsed Acharya’s appointment as CEO effective from Magh 12, in line with an earlier board decision. He has formally assumed office after the completion of the term of the outgoing CEO Nischal Raj Pandey, whose tenure ended on Sunday.

Acharya has been appointed for a four-year term and will lead the bank during this period. Prior to his elevation, he was serving as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Sanima Bank.

The Board of Directors had decided in late Kartik to appoint Acharya as CEO, effective from Magh 12. With the transition now completed, Acharya takes charge of the bank’s executive leadership, overseeing its overall management, strategic direction, and operational performance.
