KATHMANDU: has entered its 41st year of operation, marking four decades of presence in Nepal’s banking and financial sector with a renewed focus on digital transformation and customer-centric innovation.
The bank stated that over its 40-year journey, it has sustained a strong institutional position through the continued trust and support of customers, shareholders, regulators, partner institutions, and employees. On the occasion, the bank family expressed gratitude to all stakeholders who contributed to its growth trajectory.
Speaking during the 40th anniversary celebration, Chairman Prithvi Bahadur Pande extended appreciation to all stakeholders and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to delivering transparent, responsible, and innovation-driven banking services in the years ahead.
Chief Executive Officer Jyoti Prakash Pandey emphasized that the bank is accelerating its digital transformation agenda to make customer experience simpler, more secure, and more efficient.
“With the slogan ‘Moving Forward Together on the Path of Prosperity,’ we remain focused on prioritizing customer convenience and introducing modern banking solutions,” the CEO stated.
The bank’s management indicated that investments in digital infrastructure, technology-driven service delivery, and operational efficiency will remain central to its strategic roadmap amid intensifying competition in Nepal’s commercial banking sector.
As part of its anniversary observance, the bank also announced the publication of the eighth edition of its financial literacy-based illustrated book series. This year’s edition, titled “3R Sundar Sansar,” addresses themes such as environmental pollution, conservation of natural resources, and global warming in an accessible and educational format.
The publication initiative, ongoing for the past eight years, is aimed at enhancing awareness among children under the bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) framework. The bank noted that rising environmental challenges and climate risks demand early awareness and responsible behavioral change among younger generations.
