KATHMANDU: Wi‑Fi Nepal has announced a major milestone, reaching 100,000 connected households across Nepal since launching operations in 2022.
The internet service provider said it has rapidly expanded its network within less than three years, positioning itself as an affordable and reliable broadband provider, particularly for low-income families, students, renters and small businesses.
According to the company, its services are now available in more than 100 cities across Nepal, supported by over 40 contact offices nationwide that provide local customer service and technical support.
As the company approaches its third anniversary in 2026, Wi-Fi Nepal has grown its workforce to more than 500 employees, reflecting its expanding operations in Nepal’s competitive broadband market.
From its inception, the company has promoted itself as “Your Digital Companion,” focusing on communities that often struggle to access reliable and affordable internet connectivity. By offering low-cost packages and stable broadband service, the ISP has attracted households, students attending online classes and entrepreneurs running small digital businesses.
The company was also listed among the Top 10 Internet Service Providers in Nepal in March 2025, highlighting its growing presence in the country’s digital infrastructure sector.
Commenting on the milestone, CEO Shatruhan Panjiyar said the achievement reflects the trust of customers and the commitment of the company’s team.
“We are truly thankful to our customers for their trust and to our entire Wi-Fi Nepal team for their dedication. This milestone strengthens our commitment to improving services and reaching more communities across Nepal,” Panjiyar said.
Wi-Fi Nepal said it plans to continue expanding its network in the coming years to bridge Nepal’s digital divide and promote wider digital inclusion.
