KATHMANDU: Himalayan Reinsurance Limited Chairman Shekhar Golchha has stepped down from his position, marking a notable leadership change in Nepal’s growing reinsurance sector.
According to the company, Golchha submitted his resignation on March 9 (Falgun 25). The board of directors formally approved his resignation during a meeting held on March 18 (Chaitra 5), Company Secretary Santosh KC confirmed.
Golchha, who served as the founding chairman of Himalayan Reinsurance, played a central role in establishing the company as a key player in Nepal’s insurance and reinsurance landscape.
