KATHMANDU: Jagdamba Motors, the official distributor of TVS Motor Company in Nepal, has launched the new edition of the TVS Jupiter scooter in the Nepali market. The unveiling event was held in Kathmandu on Monday.
The latest model of TVS Jupiter is priced at NPR 2,57,900. To mark the launch, the company is offering a 0% interest finance facility throughout the month of July.
Equipped with a 113cc engine generating 8 BHP of power and 9.8 Nm of torque, the new Jupiter comes with a CVT gearbox and has been designed using lightweight materials and polymers for improved fuel efficiency and performance.

Speaking at the event, Akhil Gupta, Executive Director of Jagdamba Motors, said the scooter has been custom-designed for Nepali roads and riders. “This model underwent over 25,000 km of testing to suit local needs,” he said.
“Our goal is to become the leader in this segment, and we are committed to doing everything necessary to serve our customers effectively,” Gupta said.
CEO Deepak Mishra emphasized that the scooter is ideal for middle-class families, students, women, and working professionals, especially in Nepal’s increasingly congested cities. “The scooter offers an affordable, stylish, and reliable solution for daily commutes,” he added.
Mishra also highlighted the rising scooter demand, stating that the Nepali scooter market has grown by 42%, with high demand in the 110cc to 125cc segment. With 150+ dealers, 300+ service centers, and 4,000+ affiliated garages, he assured timely and affordable maintenance service.
TVS representatives from India, including Ashwin Srinivasan, expressed confidence that the Jupiter would win the hearts of Nepali consumers. Brand ambassadors Swastima Khadka and Pradeep Khadka also spoke about their 5-year association with TVS, expressing pride in being part of the brand.
The new Jupiter brings greater power, improved mileage, enhanced comfort, and modern technology, making it one of the most competitive offerings in Nepal’s two-wheeler market.
