KATHMANDU: Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has achieved a historic milestone by winning the Silver Award in the Life Insurance Category under the Best Presented Annual Report Awards, presented by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN).
Nepal Life is the first life insurance company in Nepal to receive this prestigious honor, which recognizes excellence in financial reporting and transparency. The award was conferred for the company’s Annual Financial Report of Fiscal Year 2080/81 (2023/24).
The award ceremony took place at Hotel Radisson in Kathmandu, where Auditor General Toyam Raya handed over the accolade to Nepal Life CEO Praveen Raman Parajuli and Deputy CEO Amit Kumar Kayal. The jury praised the company’s report for its strong financial transparency, governance disclosures, accountability, and adherence to international reporting standards.
Following the recognition, CEO Parajuli emphasized that the award places even greater responsibility on the company to maintain and strengthen its commitment to financial discipline and corporate transparency.
With a market share of nearly 30% in Nepal’s life insurance sector, Nepal Life also expressed gratitude to its clients, agents, employees, shareholders, and stakeholders, reaffirming its commitment to delivering excellent services and good governance in the days ahead.
