KATHMANDU: The Tigg presents NAS-IT Expo 2025 concluded in Lalitpur with remarkable energy, collaboration, and business momentum, firmly establishing itself as Nepal’s largest and most impactful technology and business exhibition to date. Hosted by the Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT) at Heritage Garden, Sanepa, the two-day event became a vibrant hub where software companies, digital service providers, global investors, startups, and young innovators converged to shape Nepal’s digital future. More than just a showcase, the Expo demonstrated how Nepal’s IT ecosystem is accelerating toward global competitiveness.
The event welcomed over 2,500 visitors, a mix of corporate leaders, founders, investors, university students, government representatives, development partners, and international delegates. The presence of key policymakers and ambassadors underscored growing national and international confidence in Nepal’s digital sector. Exhibitors reported strong lead generation, meaningful networking outcomes, partnership discussions, and in many cases, on-spot business conversions—reflecting real value creation beyond brand visibility.
For many, the Expo highlighted a shift: Nepal’s IT industry is no longer aspiring for global relevance—the transition is already underway.
Stalls across the venue displayed a dynamic range of solutions, from enterprise SaaS platforms, business productivity tools, AI-based analytics, FinTech and payment systems, cybersecurity offerings, and ERP solutions, to software exports, outsourcing services, Web3 ecosystems, and cloud-native products. Startups introduced fresh innovations designed to solve real operational challenges faced by Nepali corporates, manufacturing firms, hospitals, retailers, educational institutions, and government entities.
Visitors engaged in hands-on demos and live product trials, with many developers, CTOs, and procurement teams making focused inquiries regarding integration, scalability, and deployment capabilities—signifying a maturing buyer ecosystem in Nepal’s digital sector.
The live pitch deck sessions allowed emerging startups to present to investors and senior corporate decision-makers in real time. Each pitch emphasized application, scalability, and commercial viability, marking a shift from idea-led to impact-driven innovation culture.
Speaking about the Expo’s outcome, NAS-IT President Gaurav Pandey emphasized that the core objective of the event had always been collaboration.
“Our vision was to create a space where technology meets opportunity—and we’ve achieved that. From corporate engagement to international representation, from strong visitor turnout to business conversions—the Expo exceeded expectations. The networking and collaboration objectives were fully met, setting a new benchmark for Nepal’s IT industry,” Pandey said.
This spirit of collaboration was visible in every session, handshake, and informal interaction. Multiple companies reported mutual partnerships formed on the spot—software firms integrating complimentary tools, outsourcing companies exploring joint delivery centers, and startups opening discussions with venture capital networks and international outsourcing clients.
Among the many exhibitors, the team from Ripple Byte shared that their experience was not only positive but strategically valuable.
“We received excellent visitor engagement, genuine business inquiries, and numerous high-quality leads. NAS-IT Expo created real business value for us. We’re already looking forward to next year,” the company shared.
Other companies echoed similar sentiments, noting that the event attracted business stakeholders genuinely looking to adopt new digital solutions—not just casual visitors. For service companies that rely heavily on trust and relationship building, the Expo offered fertile ground for expanding professional networks and client connections—both at national and international levels.
The Expo’s vibrant atmosphere was amplified by the presence of media personalities, corporate executives, digital creators, and young tech enthusiasts. Many visitors described the event as “inspiring,” “future-oriented,” and “a reflection of what Nepali tech is capable of when platforms are created to bring people together.”
Networking corners buzzed with conversation. Product managers exchanged notes on user experience design. Startup founders compared business scaling strategies. Corporate IT directors engaged in procurement-level meetings. Investors quietly evaluated both product maturity and entrepreneurial mindset.
This convergence—youth energy, corporate strategy, and entrepreneurial spirit—made the Expo far more than an exhibition; it became a living ecosystem.
With its successful conclusion, the Tigg presents NAS-IT Expo 2025 stands as a milestone in Nepal’s journey toward digital transformation. It has demonstrated that the country is home to a fast-growing, export-ready, globally competitive IT sector, and that collaboration between private sector, government, and innovation communities is not only possible but already advancing.
The momentum generated in these two days is expected to continue long after the venue lights fade—the partnerships formed, conversations sparked, and opportunities unlocked will influence product development, business strategy, and international market expansion in the months ahead.
The Expo has positioned Nepal’s IT industry not as a follower, but as an emerging leader in South Asia’s digital landscape.
