KATHMANDU: Ncell has successfully renewed its ISO 27001:2022 (ISMS) and ISO 27701:2019 (PIMS) certifications, reinforcing its position as a leader in information security and data privacy.
Last year, Ncell became the first telecom company in Nepal to be certified in both the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and the Privacy Information Management System (PIMS), receiving these prestigious global certifications. This renewal further reaffirms Ncell’s commitment to safeguarding customer information by adopting internationally recognised standards.
As part of the standard renewal process, an ISO-authorised body assigned an external auditor to conduct a surveillance audit at Ncell. The auditor carried out an assessment in line with ISO controls and verified that Ncell’s information security and data privacy governance processes comply with ISO-defined standards. These certifications will remain valid for the next one year.
The scope of Ncell’s renewed ISO certifications includes its Data Centre, Customer Service, and IT Services, further strengthening reliability and protection. This demonstrates Ncell’s continued commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in the telecom industry.
