Global IME Bank launches IPO application facility and live market updates via ‘Global Smart Plus’ app

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited has introduced an IPO application facility through its Global Smart Plus mobile banking app, enabling customers to apply for public share offerings directly from their smartphones.

The bank stated that users of its mobile banking platform can now complete the entire IPO application process easily through the Global Smart Plus app.

Customers need to go to the IPO Management section of the app and enter their Demat number, after which they will immediately receive a CRN (Customer Reference Number). Once IPOs open for subscription, customers can submit their applications directly through the app.

Global Smart Plus users will also receive information about any company’s IPO opening through the application. This service eliminates the need for customers to use other channels for IPO applications and provides greater convenience while saving time.

Live Market Feature Added to App

The Global Smart Plus app now also includes a Live Market feature, providing customers with real-time updates on all transactions taking place in the secondary market.

Through this feature, users can access NEPSE trading summaries, top gainers, top turnover stocks, watchlist, calculator, stock comparison tools, broker lists, and various investment-related information.

The live market function offers complete secondary market information and allows customers to track their personal share investments. By entering purchase price and number of shares, users can monitor their share value and profit or loss in real time.

The calculator helps customers make accurate calculations when deciding to buy or sell shares, supporting better investment planning.

The watchlist feature allows investors to create a list of preferred stocks, enabling them to monitor price changes and market trends before making investment decisions. The stock comparison tool provides comparative analysis based on price trends and other indicators, offering additional context for investment decisions.

With these additions, users of the Global Smart Plus app can access full secondary market information, making it convenient to track and analyze stock market activities through a digital platform using smartphones.
