SEE exam
KATHMANDU: The evaluation of answer sheets for Nepal’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE) has commenced from the very first day of the exam, with authorities aiming for a faster result publication timeline this year.
According to National Examination Board, the checking of answer sheets began immediately after the completion of the English exam on Thursday. The exam, which started at 8:00 AM, concluded at 11:00 AM, and evaluation work was initiated at the respective examination centers the same day.
Examination Controller Tuk Raj Adhikari confirmed that the board has adopted a rapid evaluation approach to ensure timely publication of results.
“The answer sheets are being checked at the same centers where the exams are conducted, starting from the very day of the exam,” Adhikari said.
Strict Measures to Ensure Fair Evaluation
To maintain transparency and fairness in the evaluation process, the Board has enforced strict guidelines:
Teachers are not allowed to evaluate answer sheets of their own students

Results Within One Month
Authorities have set an ambitious target to publish SEE results within one month of the examination’s completion—significantly improving turnaround time compared to previous years.
The accelerated evaluation model reflects ongoing reforms in Nepal’s education system aimed at improving efficiency, transparency, and service delivery in national examinations.
