PM Oli launches vaccination drive against COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today virtually launched the vaccination drive against COVID-19, one year after the spread of the pandemic.

From today onwards, people will be able to get COVID-19 vaccine 62 hospitals of all seven provinces, 17 hospitals in Kathmandu and over 120 vaccine stations.

Launching the vaccination drive, PM Oli said that all Nepali citizens will be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine within next three months.

The government has placed vaccine stations in 12 hospitals of Kathmandu, three of Lalitpur and two of Bhaktapur.

As per the Ministry, Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Bir Hospital, Ayurved Research and Training Centre, Kirtipur, Patan Hospital, Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Bhaktapur Hospital, Shahid Dharma Bhakta Organ Transplant Centre, Kathmandu Medical College, Jorpati, Armed Police Force Hospital and Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre will give COVID-19 vaccination service from today.
