Nepse index scales historic high to 2,524 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index gained 48.74 points today to close at 2,524 points which the highest ever index closing.

The index opened at 2,486.79 points which is also the intraday low. Altogether 17,736,734 unit of shares were traded today via 87,670 transactions.

The trading of 202 scrips brought the total market turnover over Rs 10.44 billion which is also the highest intraday turnover in the history of Nepse.

While the float index gained 3.06 points and closed at 171.14, the Sensitive index is at 459.32 after gaining 5.3 points.
