DoFE suspends issuance of new work permit

KATHMANDU: The Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) has suspended issuing work permits to foreign job aspirants from today.

Issuing a notice on Thursday, the Foreign Employment Office (FEO) informed that the department has directed not to issue new work permits until further notice.

As per FEO, the decision to suspend issuing work permits has come after the decision of the government to suspend international flights amid rising case of coronavirus in the country.

The government has suspended international flights till May 14.
