Nepal receives 400 oxygen cylinders from China

KATHMANDU: Nepal has received 400 oxygen cylinders that its northern neighbour China donated to help it fight the Covid-19 crisis, on Tuesday.

A Nepal Airlines aircraft that had left Kathmandu for Beijing on Monday returned with the cylinders as well as 160 oxygen concentrators and 10 ventilators this afternoon, informs the national flag carrier’s General Manager Dim Prakash Paudel.

China is donating 20,000 oxygen cylinders to Nepal. Of them, the first lot has arrived at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday.
