Biswo Poudel appointed NPC vice-chair

KATHMANDU: The government today appointed Dr. Biswo Poudel as the vice-chairman of National Planning Commission (NPC).

The Cabinet meeting held today decided to appoint Poudel to NPC, the apex advisory body of the government for formulating a national vision, development policy, periodic plans and sectoral policies for overall development of the nation.

Similarly, Dr. Ramkumar Phuyal and Dr. Dil Bahadur Gurung has also been appointed as a member of the commission.

The vice-chairman post at NPC is vacant ever since the new government was formed almost two week before.
