Kulman Ghising takes charge of Nepal Electricity Authority from today

KATHMANDU: After being re-appointed as the managing director of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Kulman Ghising is assuming office from today.

The Sher Bahadur Deuba led government reappointed Ghising to NEA. Ghising had earlier completed his four-year-term as the managind director at NEA.

“I am assuming office from today,” said Ghising Wednesday morning, adding, “I have returned to the NEA after 11 months.”

Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal has re-appointed him as per the proposal submitted by him in the cabinet meeting on Monday. Outgoing MD Hitendrar Dev Shakya took leave from the NEA on Tuesday.
