KATHMANDU: After almost one and a half year of shutdown, Cinema halls across the nation are set to reopen from October 11.
Earlier, the government had given permission to open the cinema halls adopting the health and safety protocols.
Madhusudan Pradhan, Chairman of the Federation of Nepal Film Entrepreneurs, said, “The Nepal Film Producers’ Association are preparing to release the films on September 11 in the first phase in all movie halls across the nation.”
“More decisions are to be taken. However, in the first phase, movie theatres would be showing Nepali movies,” said Pradhan.
Although the government had already permitted the resumption of movie halls, it took us a month to clean and renovate the theaters to finally welcome our audiences, he said.
To welcome audiences back after the prolonged shutdown, many theaters prioritized repainting and enhancing their interiors, recognizing the power of visual appeal in creating a warm, inviting ambiance.
Clean and freshly painted walls not only improve the overall movie-watching experience but also leave a lasting impression on visitors.
This renewed focus on aesthetics has increased demand for professional painting services tailored to commercial needs.
