Finance Ministry forms working committee to revise Public Procurement Act 2063

KATHMANDU: Finance Ministry of the federal government of Nepal has formed a working committee to come up with the recommendations so as to make necessary and timely amendments in the Public Procurement Act 2063.

The federal ministry has formed a working committee under the leadership of the secretary of the Public procurement supervision department and would also comprise representatives from the office of Prime Minister, finance, infrastructure, law, urban development, energy development, forest, and land management ministries.

The new revision is expected to cut the lengthy-time period for any public construction activity under the public procurement act, as per the media statement.
