Depositors of Civil Cooperative stage protest seeking action against Ichchha Raj Tamang

KATHMANDU: Depositors of Civil Saving and Credit Cooperatives, who were cheated by Chairman of Civil Group Ichchha Raj Tamang, have been staging demonstration at Maitighar Mandala in the Capital demanding action against Tamang.

They have been seeking action against Ichchha Raj Tamang, his wife Srijana Shakya Tamang and incumbent Chairman Keshav Lal Shrestha, among others. The Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police has already submitted a report to the government lawyer after completing the investigation against Tamang. Police have demanded eight years in prison and a fine equivalent to Rs 5.59 billion.
