Govt not to table MCC Compact at today’s House of Representatives meeting

KATHMANDU:The ruling coalition has agreed not to table the MCC Compact in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives which is set to start from 1:00 pm.

The meeting between Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal agreed upon not to table the US-grant at today’s parliament meeting and to have a decisive discussion on MCC within the government-alliance.

A meeting of the top leaders of the coalition will be held on Thursday at 3 pm to discuss the MCC.
