Nepse loses 19.84 points and closes at 2,734.44

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index closed at 2,734.44 today after losing 19.84 points from yesterday’s closing. The index had gained 53.3 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,759.37 today and created the intraday high at 2,771.61. Although it went as low as 2,725.34, it ultimately closed at 2,734.44.

231 scrips traded hands via 39,668 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 5,652,182 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs 3.026 billion in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday’s turnover of Rs 3.233 billion.
