NTA instructs ISPs to ban cryptocurrency, online gambling websites and apps

KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has instructed Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to shut down illegal websites and apps, including cryptocurrency, hyper-networking and online gambling.

The NTA has directed the ISPs to implement the decision to ban the use, operation and management of such activities within Nepali territory.
