Apollo Energy inks JV framework agreement​ for the 260 MW hydropower project

KATHMANDU: Apollo Energy Pvt. Ltd., a company under the Energy Division of the Golyan Group, is coming up with 260 MW hydropower project (Namlan Khola) adding more to the group’s combined energy portfolio.

With the aim of harnessing hydropower energy, the Group signed a joint venture “framework agreement” with China energy international group co. ltd. and China gezhouba group international engineering co. ltd. The agreement was jointly signed by Mr. Akshay Golyan, MD of Golyan Group, Mr. Prawin Aryal, CEO of Energy Division of Golyan Group, Mr. Young Honglin, Chief Representative of China energy international group co. ltd. And Mr. Ou Tao, Chief Representative of China gezhouba group international engineering co. ltd.

The Golyan Group is continuously driving its legacy striving to strengthen the economic and social foundations of Nepal for more sustainable future and strongly believes that clean and renewable energy holds the answer to a better planet. The group has invested in renewable energy with a plan to contribute 900 MW to bring sustainability portfolio of the country in the next decade and promises to create a sustainable future.
