Suspended NRB governor Adhikari files petition at Supreme Court

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari, who was suspended by the government,  has filed a petition at the apex court, seeking his reinstatement to the central bank.

The government had suspended him on April 8 accusing for releasing confidential information, causing damage to the banking system, leaking classified information before making policy decisions, and stopping the import of luxury goods by the government and the Cabinet.
