WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus arrives Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Director-General of the World Health Organisation Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has arrived Kathmandu today.

Ghebreyesus arrived Kathmandu at the invitation of the Minister for Health and Population Birodh Khatiwada.The WHO director general will pay a courtesy call on President Bidhya Devi Bhandari while a meeting between the President and the WHO director general is scheduled on April 22.

Similarly, Ghebreyesus will also call on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, National Assembly Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsena, Health Minister Birodh Khatiwada and Minister of Foreign Affairs Narayan Khadka, WHO officials in Nepal.
