Siddhartha Bank bags ‘Best Operations Bank’ award from IFC

KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Bank has received the award ‘Best Operations Bank in South Asia 2021’.

The award was given to the bank at the 10th Global Trade Awards, which were hosted by the International Finance Cooperation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group.

The IFC’s Trade Finance Program selected 48 winners in various categories based on a competitive process of 500 partner banks. Siddhartha Bank was one of them to receive the award.

Among the IFC network banks, Siddhartha Bank has succeeded in establishing itself as an active partner bank by providing excellent banking services to its customers in a simple and straightforward manner.

The award was presented by Martin Holtman, for Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal at a special event on Friday to Sundar Prasad Kadel, Chief Executive Officer of Siddhartha Bank.

According to the bank, the title will strengthen the customer’s commitment and provide a higher level of service in the future.

The Bank has been providing high-quality banking services through 190 branches (including 4 extension counters), 114 branchless banking services, and more than 1,500 POS machines across the country with the goal of providing access to banking services to all sectors and classes.
