Tara Air aircraft suspected crashed in Lete, Mustang

KATHMANDU: The Tara Airlines flight from Pokhara to Jomsom, which had lost contact, has been suspected to have been crashed in Lete, Mustang.

The 9NAET twin-engine aircraft carrying 22 passengers including crew members from Pokhara to Jomsom had lost contact at around 10:00 am today morning.

The security team of Nepal Police and Army are on the way to Lete after the locals there reported that a loud noise was heard and a fire was seen. According to the District Police Office, Mustang, a police team with other rescue team has been sent to the spot.
