Had there been any treason while determining tax rates, I will take responsibility: FinMin Sharma

KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has claimed that there was no treason in maintaining tax rates.

Replying to a question raised in Parliament on Thursday, Finance Minister Sharma said, “I am fully responsible for the tax rates set by the Revenue Committee. If there is treason in this process, I will take full responsibility for it.”

He claimed that the tax rates have been changed keeping in view the dollar reserves, imports and production.
