Authorities urged not to remove contract employees working under PMEP

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has urged the concerned authorities not to remove contract employees working at the Employment Service Centre under the Prime Minister’s Employment Programme.

The Ministry urged the authorities not to remove the contract employees appointed in the local level elections from the service except in accordance with the legal process.

Issuing a notice on Monday, the Ministry said that the projects under the Prime Minister’s Employment Programme would be affected if all the employees are removed at once.
