Singer Arthur Gunn appointed as goodwill ambassador for Nepali Tourism

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has appointed American Idol 2020 first runner-up Dibesh Pokharel (aka Arthur Gunn) as the world goodwill ambassador for Nepal’s tourism.

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jeevan Ram Shrestha announced that Pokharel has been appointed as a world goodwill ambassador at a special function held at the Ministry on Sunday.

According to a statement issued by the Minister for Culture,Tourism and Civil Aviation, Pokharel was honored for making an important contribution to introduce Nepal to the world.

Stating that he is happy to announce Pokhrel as the world goodwill ambassador for Nepal’s tourism, Minister Shrestha praised him for playing an important role in making Nepal known to the world through his talent.

After being appointed as the world goodwill ambassador, Pokharel pledged to help promote Nepal’s tourism and culture through his music.
