Cabinet decide to accept Rs 36.5 billion loan and grant from multilateral lenders

KATHMADU: The government has decided to accept concessional loan from the World Bank and grant from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to approve the assistance provided by multilateral lenders.

Government spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki informed that it was decided to accept Rs 35 billion concessional loan assistance received from the World Bank for the transport and trade integration enhancement program.

Similarly, it has been decided to accept Rs 1.52 billion aid received from the Asian Development Bank for the Women’s Protection and Upliftment System Project and to form a negotiation team for it.
