NMB bank’s Mahottari branch robbed

KATHMANDU: Today in the Mahottari district, a bank was robbed in broad daylight by an unidentified group of masked men.

The robbery occurred today at noon at the NMB Bank branch office in Mahottari Rural Municipality-2, Mahottari Bazar, according to the police.

The armed group entered the bank while brandishing pistols at the counter, according to Mahottari Police Spokesperson DSP Dilip Kumar Giri. They stole Rs 3.8 million.

The four individuals pulled out guns at 12 o’clock and stole Rs. 3.8 million, according to the police. According to reports, they rode motorcycles away after breaking into the bank while wearing masks. The police are looking harder for the robbers now.
