NoC slashes fuel price

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a significant price reduction for petrol and diesel, slashing rates by Rs 11 per liter and Rs 5 per liter, respectively.

In an official press statement, NOC confirmed that the revised prices will be effective from midnight on Sunday. Under the new rates, petrol will be available for Rs 172 per liter, while diesel and kerosene will both be priced at Rs 168 per liter in the Kathmandu Valley.

NOC attributed this price adjustment to the decreased procurement rates negotiated with its supplier, the Indian Oil Corporation.
