Global IME Bank expands network with new branch in Patan Bazaar

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank has recently commenced operations at its new branch located in Patan Bazaar of Baitadi district, beginning on Saturday, November 25, 2023. The inauguration ceremony for the Patan branch was graced by the presence of the Mayor of Patan Municipality, Gauri Singh Rawal.

With the addition of this new branch, the total count of branch offices operated by the bank has now reached 251. Notably, Global IME Bank stands out as the first commercial bank in the private sector to establish a comprehensive network of branches covering all 77 districts of Nepal.

The bank boasts a robust infrastructure, encompassing 351 branches, 369 ATMs, 274 branches offering diverse banking services, 66 extension counters, and 3 foreign representative offices. With a customer base exceeding 45 lakhs, served through a vast network of more than 1,100 service centers, the bank has earned a reputation for delivering exceptional services.

Moreover, Global IME Bank has played a pivotal role in contributing significantly to the country’s economy. This contribution is facilitated through remittance services originating from various countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, India, Jordan, Hong Kong, and other nations.
